CBC will have the privilege of hosting the Baptist World aid 2021 launch on Saturday 13th of March between 2pm-4pm. In this time we will be hearing about plans to aid the poor and most vulnerable in our world. The big feature each year is the plan for the ethical fashion guide. The COVID pandemic has had a huge impact on those who make our clothes. This has happened because we all stop going out. There was a significant reduction in fashion retail, which meant a cancelation of orders. Those people working in the fashion industry, the along the whole production chain, found themselves with less work. This has had significant impact as many were already struggling making do. Make a date in your diaries to hear how you can empower those who live in poverty.
